2025
This year, weather conditions were ideal at first – a mild winter and a temperate spring produced vines in excellent health. June brought sunny, warm days – the first heatwave lasting around ten days – which encouraged early flowering and even ripening of the grapes, suggesting a beautiful harvest ahead.
However, the climate in the final month before harvest played a more ambivalent role. The summer of 2025 continued with high temperatures and a second heatwave in early August, leading to severe drought. Fortunately, thunderstorms and much-needed rain in the second half of August revived the vines, slightly reducing grape concentration.
Although yields were lower than expected, the grapes were of excellent quality. The juices show great promise, displaying beautiful aromatic richness and impressive depth. 2025 will be remembered as a vintage shaped by smart adaptation and precise harvest timing.

2024
After unpredictable weather, the sunny harvest gave birth to wines of purity and elegance. The 2024 vintage is shaping up to be a rare and precious expression of our terroirs.
Following a spring marked by unstable weather — with heavy rainfall until mid-July — the vines drew deeply from their resources to produce grapes of remarkable concentration.
Yields, unfortunately low, reflect a demanding year for our vineyard team.
Work in the vines was long and arduous. We had to treat the vines more than a dozen times this year to protect the grapes from mildew. Our winemaking team never gave up, and their perseverance paid off. Fortunately, the return of sunshine in August and a radiant September allowed us to harvest between September 15 and 25, under ideal conditions and at perfect maturity.
The result:
• Red wines with beautiful freshness, elegance, and structure
• White wines that are bright, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with controlled alcohol levels

2023
It had been quite some time since we last experienced two consecutive vintages combining both quantity and quality. The relatively early spring allowed for an abundant fruit set, and flowering took place quickly and evenly, in just eight days, across all our parcels.
Despite the unsettled weather at the beginning of summer, the vines remained in excellent health, and the early harvest in early September brought in grapes with perfect ripeness, both white and red.
At the estate, even though whites represent only 15% of our production, 2023 will be remembered as a great vintage for our Chardonnays. The wines are highly aromatic, and their balance has been beautifully preserved despite the hot conditions at the start of harvest.
The reds are very expressive, with aromas of red fruits and even spices emerging early during fermentation. On the palate, they show a lovely crispness, while the tannins remain silky. The wines will continue their ageing until spring 2025 and are expected to be bottled around May, for release to the market in September 2025.

2022
We welcome this vintage with open arms. Nature has finally been generous. Some compensation for the huge losses of the 2021 vintage.
Despite episodes of extreme weather thrown at us yet again – frost, heatwaves, drought – nature has bestowed on us a great vintage, in both reds and whites.
Bud break occurred later than for previous vintages, meaning our vineyard avoided the effects of the frost in April. Then, through several heatwaves and the general lack of rain during the summer, the vine remained resilient, avoiding damage.
Finally, some life-saving rainfall sufficed to prevent too much water stress on the plants, leading to a harvest of both quality and quantity.
Our whites were quick to reveal very expressive aromas of fresh fruit. Maturation brought a wonderful complexity, making this vintage quite intense but very balanced.
As for the reds, we identified two styles in the cellar. Some plots delivered very fruity and round wines with remarkable aromatic intensity, which were bottled at the end of November. Other cuvées, however, will have to wait until the spring, allowing the firm tannins that are still present to mellow a little.
In conclusion, this is a vintage that will speak to those who appreciate generous and round wines, in cuvées such as Les Aigrots or Les Cent Vignes, but that will also delight connoisseurs of wines for laying down, such as Les Bressandes, Les Grèves or Le Clos de la Bataillère.

2015
Harvesting, scheduled for September 10th or so, was brought forward a week. The weather forecast was perfect, and so were the vines. The night of August 31st filled all wine growers with dread: a thunderstorm with a risk of hail was likely to pass over Burgundy. This year we were spared, as the hail hit some of the vineyards in Chablis. The small amount of rain that fell that night was good for the vines and led to a drop in temperatures.
Date of the harvest: September 3rd
Average yield: 29 hl/ha
Characteristics of the vintage: These deep red wines reveal black fruit notes. Their complex structure combined with the mellow, present tannins makes them good candidates for cellaring.

2014
After a July that was generally average, August was cold and not very sunny. But September made up for this. As the old saying goes, “September makes the vintage”, and this warm month with blue skies nearly every day gave us heart and rectified the late maturity observed in the vineyards.
Date of the harvest: September 16th
Average yield: 17 hl/ha
Characteristics of the vintage: The beautifully deep crimson wines reveal notes of black fruits and spices. Pleasantly concentrated, their balance and silkiness in the mouth recall such classic vintages as 2006 and 2010.

2013
Despite this, many buds survived and developed into small bunches, but then hail, the enemy of all wine growers arrived.
A heavy hailstorm fell on July 23rd, cutting our harvest by more than half. However, the weather turned more clement in the following months, with the best July and August weather since 2003, and decent weather in September, limiting the damage.
Date of the harvest: October 4th
Average yield: 18 hl/ha
Characteristics of the vintage: Supple and tasty, this wine is characterised by the richness of its red fruit notes (raspberries, cherries, red currants) and its roundness in the mouth. It can be drunk young.

2012

2010
Date of the harvest: September 25th
Average yield: 23 hl/ha
Characteristics of the vintage: This vintage produced wines of a beautiful deep red colour that combine harmony, concentration, tension and good length in the mouth. You will be charmed by their silky tannins and the purity of their fruity aromas.

Weather : Spring was late to come and punctuated by many rains and few thunderstorms in the end of May, giving the soils the water it needed. The blossom, early this year once again, started arround the 22nd of May. Summer was unusually dry and the vine had to draw from the water reserves of spring. Few rainfalls were well welcomed in June and July.Date of the harvest : 4th of September

Weather : Buds appeared in the early April almost 15 days earlier then usual. Some frosts were announced, all the winemakers were following carefully the temperatures for 15 days, and were struggling each one by their means to keep the harvest : helicopters, candles, cramming the vines or burning wet straw at sunrise to smoke the sky. Luckily, temperatures were just high enough on the Cote de Beaune and had no effects on the young buds. Blossoms started around the 25th of May and were followed by some sun in June and July. Some rainfalls were announced, good for the vines but carefully followed by the winemakers because of the hail. Fortunately, there were no damages on our parcels.Date of the harvest : 7th of September

Weather : 2016 had been a particularly tough year. A strong frost hit the Burgundy vineyard the 27th of April and roasted many buds. Few winemakers remembered a phenomenon of such intensity (some thought about 1981, others even going back to 4th May 1957!) ; Many primary buds were frozen, reducing instantly the potential crop. May and June were as complicated as April : vine shoots grew in an anarchic way, ceaseless rains in June involved an every moment fight against weeds and mildew. Every vine, with or without bunches, had to be worked the same way. The sun came back in July, August and September saved the harvest.Date of the harvest : September 21st
Average yield : 23 hl/ha (not any crops in the Grèves, Marconnets, Dessus des Marconnets, White Savigny)
Characteristics of the vintage : Of a great Burgundian classicism, the wines are showing beautiful aromas of red berries and cassis.

Weather: A frequent northerly wind throughout spring made the flowering season difficult. Summer, as in the rest of France, was hot and dry. A lack of water and a powerful sun made us fear the worst yet again this year. But a few spots of rain fell, enough for the vines to give us their best: small bunches with tightly clustered grapes of superb quality.Harvesting, scheduled for September 10th or so, was brought forward a week. Weather: Winter was mild and spring was dry. Early flowering at the start of June heralded harvesting in the second half of September, 100 days after flowering. After two beautiful warm months, the unthinkable occurred again. On June 28th, our vines were once more struck by a hailstorm. There was considerable damage. Already “shocked” by the previous year’s hailstones, the vines already had only a few bunches. Again, Les Aigrots was the worst affected vineyard, suffering over 90% damage (95% the previous year). As a consequence, the 2013 and 2014 vintages will be small for our white wines. Unlike the previous year, the storm lessened in intensity as it headed towards Côte de Nuits, so damage at Les Cent-Vignes was only 40%, and 30% at Savigny. After a July that was generally average, August was cold and not very sunny. But September made up for this. As the old saying goes, “September makes the vintage”, and this warm month with blue skies nearly every day gave us heart and rectified the late maturity observed in the vineyards.

Weather: In 2013, the flowers had another rough time ; Arriving over 3 weeks late (not uncommon in the 50s–70s, according to the old-timers), they were faced with a cold wave and heavy spring rainfall.Despite this, many buds survived and developed into small bunches, but then hail, the enemy of all wine growers arrived.

Weather: A difficult flowering season was followed by a turbulent early summer. Short but heavy rainstorms alternated with sunny blue skies, so the vines needed to be monitored constantly to limit outbreaks of mildew and powdery mildew as far as possible. But the weather turned beautiful in early September, allowing the grapes to reach maturity without upset. The number of bunches per vine was low and the grapes were small with thick skins, producing a low yield.Date of the harvest: September 24th

Weather: This year was marked by a difficult flowering season. Spring, arriving late after the winter’s severe frosts (down to -20 C° in mid-December), wasn’t much better. The blossoms on the vines were badly affected by the rain and relatively cool temperatures for the season, so the vines produced only a few bunches of grapes, and many of these were milleranded (millerandage: the bunch having extremely small). Luckily, the summer weather was more clement after mid-June and the bunches developed excellently.Date of the harvest: September 25th
Average yield: 23 hl/ha
Characteristics of the vintage: This vintage produced wines of a beautiful deep red colour that combine harmony, concentration, tension and good length in the mouth. You will be charmed by their silky tannins and the purity of their fruity aromas.
