Founded in 1820, the Albert Morot estate embodies the very essence of Beaune’s great terroirs.
Across 8 hectares of organically farmed vineyards, the estate produces pure, elegant wines from renowned Premier Cru vineyards, including: Bressandes, Grèves, Teurons, as well as Marconnets, Cent-Vignes, Toussaints, and Aigrots.
The estate also nurtures a rare jewel: Clos de la Bataillères, an approximately 2-hectare monopole classified as Savigny-Vergelesses Premier Cru.
A limited production of Pommard, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Bourgogne Chardonnay, and Bourgogne Pinot Noir completes the domaine’s portfolio.
In 2023, this historic property was acquired by the family group led by Guillaume and Sophie Poitrinal, inspired by a vision that unites respect for heritage with a contemporary approach. Extensive modernization work has since been undertaken in both the winery and the château to enhance every stage of winemaking.
The estate is managed by renowned winemaker Pierre-Jean Villa, whose experience and sensitivity bring a fresh new dynamic to the property.
Château Albert Morot welcomes exclusive seminars and prestigious stays throughout the year, complemented by unique wine experiences at the estate.
